1970 to Present, and Many More

Tom Townsley came out of the Navy armed with knowledge of the electrical trade and a drive to succeed. He opened Townsley Electric for business in Bellevue, Kentucky as a residential contractor in 1970.

In the late 1970's the company broadened its scope by breaking into commercial construction. TEC proved to deliver a quality installation at a competitive price. As a result the business prospered and quickly out-grew the original location.

In 1983 the company office was moved to Dayton, Kentucky in the location that was once Superior Coal, a local landmark. In 1984, Mark Kramer obtained his electrical contractors license and the company began specializing in Design/Build work. From that time forward, Townsley Electrical Contractors has built a reputation as an area leader in Design/Build work.

In 2006, after over twenty years of sharing an office, Tom Townsley took a well-deserved retirement and Mark Kramer became the president and sole stock holder of Townsley Electrical Contractors. In 2008 a new office and warehouse were built in Independence, Kentucky to better serve our customers.

Today, Townsley Electrical Contractors is known for its quality of installations, service and integrity, specializing in Design/Build electrical installations in the residential, commercial, and industrial markets, now for over 40 years.
